Hey fellas. sorry i've been away for like. i dont know man. 6 months!? hahaa or more. oh shit... anyway... i've a new pictorial blog up for the stuff i've been making. http://www.ube-tees.blogspot.com/ Check it out alright? hahaa!!! its just for kicks. Anyway. School's started and here are some tips to prevent screwing it up.

1. Do NOT oversleep on your lectures.
2. Do NOT sleep at 5 a.m if school's at 8.30 a.m and you don't stay in hall.
3. Stop checking out the hotties, but if your in engineering like i am, this does not apply.
4. Make sure you check your nus e-mail at least once in the semester.
5. Stop smelling your teacher's ass crack, thats not gonna get you more marks
6. Learn to actually do your tutorials and STOP copying. (i know you do.)
7. Wear proper shoes to school to prevent gross-ness by stepping on shit at a particular hall residence.
8. Do not wear the smelly shoes if you have stepped on the shit at a particular hall residence.
9. If you wear the smelly shoes, wrap them in a plastic bag before entering a lecture theatre.
10. Eat Indonesian Panggang with a cup of Mountain Dew at Technoedge.

Haha. i can't believe i danced in the middle of ngee ann city. haha.

Anyway... Spent new year's eve down by takashimaya for the "let the funk out" hip hop bash... got on the guestlist so free entry made it even better... haha. Last night was damn fun lah... Tim, the bartender man, brought his absolut peach... yummyyyyyyy... chilled out at the Youthpark sipping alcoholic kickapoos and eating sushi... ahhh...

Then on the way back to the party... the streets were filled with foreign workers lah... WORSE... they were armed with the "fake" snow spray cans and went around spraying everyone. even WORSE... they were all HOLDING HANDS... na bei... whacked ard 5 of em... and punched an ah beng who sprayed into gen's face... fucker. but... we counted down together... Timmy, Alden, Clarence, Clarissa, Germaine, Gen, Me and Joseph... haha. damn fun lah... we had lots of bourbon beers... totally sick shit man. Alden got damn high and drunk and went ard shouting "what time!" "i miss lynn!" and more "what time"s... hahaha... damn funny. caught it on video...

Ah... I think this 2005's christmas and new year's eve were the best i've ever had... thanx serangoon boys and girls... you rock...

Don't you just love reunions? haha. Especially if you guys haven't met up for almost a year and when you do meet up... it's an overload of past memories... both cherished and some... erm... better forgotten... haha.

So... the SGT people met up yesterday... Ena... Me... Lynn... Patrick and Monica... too bad Rui Feng was in KL and Alden was busy... if not... it'll be pretty swell i'd say. haha. Went to the Balcony to chill out and Lynn had sooooo much to drink... 4 beers... 2 orgasms (no. the shot.)... and B-52 shots... she got high before we adjourned to Zouk la... haha. silly girl. anyway... Zouk and Phuture was packed like hell... so what's new? and suddenly after getting drunk that night on the boat... alcohol tastes like poison to me... so i pretty much gave away all my free drinks... haha... yes. pity you weren't there. uh huh.

And if Ping, Pong, Andre and Alden are reading this... I'VE GOT YOUR PRESENTS! We have to meet up for me to pass them to u... god. they're turning mouldy la. fuck. and no. its NOT food. haha.

Merry Christmas!!! hmmm... ok. Christmas this year was slightly more happening with more people to buy presents for and more parties to attend. haha. hmmm... anyway... Went for a party organised by The Butter Factory on a yacht at Keppel Marina on Christmas morning... The only way to describe it... crazy drunken madness...

Ok. frankly said. i got wasted. 2nd time in my life the 1st being once at Zouk... So... Apparently... i was so stoned and i puked a couple of times... Oh... and i jumped out of a BMW too when it was at a red light. haha... not very funny but ya. Anyway... found out that my beloved grey pants from fil a fil got TORN! gasp! yes. torn. fuck man. I loved that pair of pants... and now its gone. sigh. Oh... thanks to everyone who helped me out on the boat in my drunken state... especially to Alden who got me home in one piece... seriously. thanx dude.

So... Christmas this year was rather eventful... got pretty good presents from Gen ( a pair of birkenstocks) and money from the parents... Alden got me my HAV slippers and the rest have yet to pass me theirs. haha. so... I'm pretty stoked out this year. New Year's Day is coming... i doubt i'll be drinking much after this episode of " drunken madness". Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...

Ok. Today was a crazy shopping day with Alden and Clarence... haha. Seriously, i love these guys... damn fun...

And the fact that Alden and Me were photowhores today only made things weirder... haha. i actually SKIPPED down orchard waving my shopping bags like a twat. haha. it was caught on video. Hmmm... oh. Clarence didn't want to take photos... but we stole some shots of him anyway. hehe.

Went to The Balcony at the Heeren too... damn cool place... was a little disappointed that the upstairs was full so we sat at the white swings outside... had a Red wine as the two of them sipped on their (1 for 1 happy hour) beers. And guess who i spotted from afar! haha. Estelle! goodness.... i never see her around though she clubs like hell too... haha. Very refreshing that i met up coincidentally with all my old friends... like Melissa who just got back from the UK and kimberly. haha. oh... and Fabian the PTI too... Oh wells... today was a fruitful day with fabulous company... serangoon boys rock.

Ministry of Sound. MOS for short. Absolutely mind-blowing.

Went to MOS last night with the serangoon boys and guess who we met there... haha. Joseph Fernandez and his buddies who ever so kindly allowed us to cut the easily 200m queue all the way to the front... thanx man! haha.

Once inside... strands of 5m long optic fibres greeted us with a celestial purple glow from the ceiling as the very helpful and polite staff chopped our right wrists with our free invitational entry chops. hehe. First room... the CAGE. looks more like something out of WWF and reminiscent of old wrestling cage matches except this room played hip hop... nice touches on the realistic air plane seats that would probably be my closest thing to the mile high club... haha. ya...

Next room... the Main arena... no shit. It's an arena alright... bigger than zouk with a stunning DJ at the helm. Never knew house was so much fun! haha. Dammit... the DJ really knew how to work the crowd... As we walked on... we found... ESCALATORS! no shit. in a club! haha. leading us to the retro room... where clarence and me "tripped" ourselves out by spinning the twirly hypnotic wheels on the walls. Met heather and weng here as we guzzled on some green bottles of beer.... yummmm...

On the the next room they called "pure". A pure white room with pure white bean bags and private pure white circular enclosures in which people have to remove their shoes in order to chill inside. Nothing much to do here... more of a chill out room... and then we saw all the VIP rooms and all... even the toilets are spotlessly clean with LCD screens at each urinal... trip out man!

Ok. thats just the intro to the place... now the funny stuff. haha! at the main arena... we saw this damn fat drunk dude man... haha. like in the numa numa video... ya... dancing like an idiot and his friends weren't helping la! instead they pushed him like a beach ball between themselves and i think he fell down around ten times (hitting about 3 women in the process...). haha. poor dude! fucking funny though... took a video. oh... and it was also the 1st time we saw Ping actually dance... haha. Had supper with Joe, Alden, Clarence, Tim and Jerry at Mac's to round the night up. Spent only 20 bucks on beer. effing happy i saved money. hehe.

Tomorrow. Tomorrow is the Day of Enlistment for some 201 young men to enter into the realm of the Green. Into Mohawk Company. Haha. And we all know what enlistment into Mohawk Company almost always means for these 201 unfortunate few... haha.

Well... that also spells trouble for me cos...... as a Platoon Commander in Mohawk Company... (and as the Recruits get confined for 2 weeks)... so do I. As they say... leadership by example. ugh. hmmm... will try to get out once in a while to have dinner alright? sigh.

Yesterday... while i was collecting tickets from parents who were coming into Tekong to see their sons graduate... This 50 year old white haired uncle came forward... only that he had stuck his ticket stub to his forehead... so... i was like "erm...." and i didn't know if i was supposed to peel it off for him? haha! damn funny lah... he peeled off his sweaty stub anyway... and saluted the medic before boarding the boat... weirdo.

Don't you just love the spirit of Christmas? All the christmas carols... all the glitter... the trees... the blue, purple and silver... the midnight masses... the food... the celebrations and of course the birthday of Christ.

Was walking down Orchard Road yesterday... after my midnight hairy pots movie screening... soaking up all the lights, the sights and the sounds of good ol Christmas... Brings me back to the days when i was younger, taking car rides with my parents to check out whether Centrepoint has won the best decoration award again... hehe. and of course... the ripping of wrapping paper only wishing that it isn't another facial product or chocolate... not that i'm being picky... but when i was younger... i preferred the occasional Batmobile and power ranger toy... ya. haha.

Christmas is here once again... i'm just lovin it... the atmosphere... its surreal.

Burnt. Sun burnt AGAIN. Despite the fact that i used sunblock lotion, Tanjong Beach's sun proved too strong once again. ya. so much so that i've adopted the nickname "blackie" given most affectionately by Gen. haha. Anyway... read in the papers that somebody drowned at Siloso Beach yest... while we were there... everything seemed fine... scary... drowning is scary.

Hmmm... oh... and i visited the newly refurbished Zouk and Phuture for the first time last night too!!! (i know i know. i'm LATE) ya. haha. quite dissapointing... i thought the layout of the club would change a little bit more than the shifting of a bar from the right to the left side of the room... bleah. hmmm... but the old resounding, reassuring familarity remains... hehe. and the fact that the toilets have more mirrors and "STD-looking" walls.uh huh. Met lots of old friends there... like Melissa and Shuxiang... Sarah Lim... Mel... and my very own cousin... Amanda... Thanx for the Birthday drink Shuxiang... i owe u.

Went to Warren Golf and Country Club for a chinese dinner with my family today. Doors open. and BAM! 50 or more tables of grannies and gramps who are no less than 80 years of age... with a stage equipped with a state of the art karoke system and hokkien songs. Got a private room... thank goodness... but some auntie kept shoving a plant pot against the door to hold it open... only to blast our ears with a barrage of hokkien songs meant for permanent insanity. but at least the food was good. hehe.

Tomorrow night is the last night for Ambarella!!! nooooooooooooooo... our regular drinking spot is closing down... sigh. why do these things have to happen at all the very wrong times? should have asked for more chips... oh... but Liquid Kitchen is opening up downstairs... wish it'll be good... or even better...

Booking in at 0800hrs. leaving my house at 0600hrs. sucks. army is ruining my life. seriously. can't stand it. i skipped 3 activites cos of bad planning and last minute arrows. things like this make me feel that army has probably the most inefficient system ever. things need to be changed.

My gosh. What a week. Had field camp. For 7 recruits. things i accomplished.

1) Kept the stingray that my friend caught.
2) Neglected the poor fella for a while and left her in the styrofoam box without changing the water.
3) Came back to realise, to my dismay, that she passed away. apparently she was pregnant and gave birth to a mini stingray.
4) Named her Desmond Bob. yes. we thought it was a HE.
5) Cooked and ate her. In pepper and teriyaki sauce.
6) Tasted too cooked and was too rubbery.

7) Almost caught a crab. she ran away. dammit. Now i assume all fishes and sea creatures are female, until proven wrong, for formality sake.

8) Was damn bored, my encik showed me the size of Tekong's fabled 5 cm long HUM (cockles) damn huge!

9) Got thrown a major sai kang that made me miss the Sentosa birthday party for me, ping, andre and timmy. It was a Re-Situational Test. For 36 recruits. sad.

10) Realised that Mohawk Company single-handedly completed field camp, re-sit test, CPC and the planning for Games Day.

11) Felt damn proud of the Company and its men. Bonded even more with all the camp mates... feels good to be close. Feeling really accomplished abeit missing the birthday thingy. dammit.

12) Reached home. Tired. but triumphant. miss my stingyray though. I really wanted to keep a stingray.

ahhh... finally back home after a long day... haha. you have no idea how much fun i had man.

1) went to explore the city hall side of singapore... went mall crawling... :)
2) went to town to see the dkny and ck sales...
3) went to bugis market in search of a specific type of razor back...
4) had terribly horrible service and worse food at Sarma. only made slightly better by its lovely interior...
5) a delightful and terribly fun conversation ensued.
6) oh... and i got a "JEEP" shirt! hehe.

To further bore you guys... i shall explain. Dinner at Sarma was terrible. The waiters have no blinking idea when to bring food (they came an hour later with our STARTERS!) and they have no idea the difference between rice and potato. strange fellas. gave us the wrong dish twice and forgot our requests a million times. ugh. This was aggravated by the fact that the "dory fillet" was as tough as day old chicken and the "chicken" was as tough as 12 year beef jerky. my goodness. you can imagine. anyhow... the interior made up for it SLIGHTLY. A comfy cross-legged sitting setting with plush cushions and a very "Arabian Nights" theme. absolutely lovely for chilling. Not dinner.

Interesting conversation ensued with topics relating to ACJC drama practice, law bashes, royalties and copyright laws, witchcraft, torture methods and of course, the bitching about how army is one big preschool with childish boys. Very interesting.

My friend's friend Audrey was going on about how the officers in army camps act like the big boys who push the small boys (recruits) off swings and bully them. While, the CO is like the ignorant principal who doesn't care and is always trying to paint a pretty picture for the parents. haha. absolutely insightful. sorry. that might be infringing your copyright laws audrey but i'm sorry. u haven't published the book. hehe. very interesting. ya.

A lovely well spent day... days like this really make you feel like life's worth the living...

Had a good talk with Zheng Xi today at subway. Pondered on life's little mysteries. And the fact that i must start running. No. swimming is NOT an alternative. dammit. and i was just about to get hooked on water.

Worldie... just completed a 3 night long Lord of the Rings movie screening of "the fellowship of the ring", "the two towers" and "the return of the king". And my conclusion? Frodo is a big mouthed, Chao Keng, PES C and a totally useless hobbit. ya. (not that PES C is bad... my PES C recruits are wayyy stronger than him) i mean... if u know ur not physically up to it... let Legolas bring the ring to Mordor... geez. OK! anyway... his best friend Sam is prolly the best buddy ever... he should be given the accolades... hmmp.

Yep. today was a relaxed day in camp... on leave tomorrow so i get to come back tonight... Went swimming with my new goggles... haha. did a 20 lap non-stop swim, took a break to pee, and did another 30 lap non-stop swim. 50 laps. my brain is dead. like seriously. Oh... and i took a bus to pasir ris with Uncle Keith a.k.a the butcher (cos he supposedly owns a keith's beef shoppe) and he PANG SEHed me... chose going home instead of accompanying his OCS platoon mate to VideoEZ to return vcds. but nevermind that. Really tired now... need to get some shut eye...

Sup world. Went sentosa-ing today with da serangoon boys... haha. cool stuff man... hern ping drove so it was pretty convenient... Got lost on the way there but no matter... finally wandered our way around West Coast to find the Sentosa entrance... haha. Got there... jumped out... headed straight for Siloso Beach... whipped out our rugby balls and played touch. haha. Saw the damn gay Super Funkies there... ew. seriously... some of them have issues man... was pretty irritated... they're like teletubbies... Anyway... Played a little basketball too and frisbee... did u know that frisbee's are affected by wind? cos there was this one time... i got hit in the head by one. hmmm... Oh... and if u are at siloso... 7-11 is 10 miles away. Take a bus. Trust me.

Played more water and dressed up Andre in coconuts and seaweed... and finally... went to look for an A&W which has since ceased to exist... bleah. Disappointed... we left for sunny Singapore... Had prata with Clarence and he told me that a business degree can be done with engineering, law or building and real estate. a double degree. very interesting.

But for now. Booking in at 10 p.m. Feeling crappy cept for the fact that i can try on my new goggles. haha. i know... geez.

Hey world... just got back from an OCS ex-platoon 2 gathering... haha. its ALWAYS nice to see your old friends after a long hiatus only to discover that everyone has different agendas in life and how everyone has moved on and grown up. And of course laughing at everyone who didn't come. :) haha. i wanna have a primary school class gathering man... wonder how it'll be like... hehe. Anyway... had a swordfish collar as usual... my healthier alternative to pork knuckles at paulaner's and marche... And later adjourned to Plaza Singapura to help my friend look for cheap soccer boots... oh... and i bought goggles! yes... for swimming... yes. i swim. yes. more than once a month. thank you. grrr... Ya... going for dinner now at the scarlet hotel... they've got this beautiful place with marquees and all... and with dishes like "Sleeping Partners" (two prawns lovingly wrapped together) and "foot fetish" (a plate of grilled slipper lobster) how can anyone not go and try it... at least once... hehe.

Hey world... just booked out for a half day off so i can bathe, grasshopper and relax in my OWN toilet. haha. You guys will never understand how important a toilet can be man... i mean... especially with the standards in Tekong... the instructor's toilets are like filled in algae and are choking everywhere. ew. but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do yes? bathe lah. sigh. Anyway! haha. Realised that our beloved Pulau Tekong really aint that bad after all... especially if u have a slack batch... everyday can be "resort day"!!! haha. Slapping on sunscreen for a tan... a swim in the pool... a workout in the gym... and running along the coast amidst the sea breeze and the setting sun can be very... "resort-like" haha. Almost feels like..... a home away from home besides the toilets being in a very dilapidated and sorry state. hmmm... yup... and i also realised one thing. Gymming after Swimming can very VERY tiring... i did it a couple of times... and a couple of times i found myself collapsing into an unconscious state from 8 p.m to 8 a.m the next morning. very scary. very very scary.

oh and my friend Alden said something damn funny just now cos he was fustrated he couldn't stick a move in his dancing which he thought he did yesterday... " it's like u get a babe's number and you lose it cos' you ate the paper or something... " haha. nonsense.

World. I want to complain. I just came back from driving, what was supposed to have been an enlightening and enjoyble lesson turned out to be exactly the opposite thanx to rude cabbies and nasty old drivers. Ugh. i mean... yes yes... you drive for a living... but you're not the KING of the road... much to whatever you guys think of yourselves... i have an "L" plate thank you very much. Anyway, disclaimer: not ALL cabbies are like that... i love the ones that tell you about their pet birds and where to get the best hokkien mee in town. hehe. But these rude ones... tsk tsk. Oh... yes... one time... i kept to my "L"eft lane and then this red car swerved into my freakin lane! "beeeeeeeeeep!" went Mr Horn... Can't blame the fella... he had a Malaysian License plate... maybe he's not used to our roads... but... whoa... what an eye opener... I love driving. i can't wait to get my license... but Ms Test Date's in end of Feb NEXT year. hmmmp. too bad friends...4 more months before i can give all u drunkards lifts home... lala.

World!!! yes. it's me... haha. went downtown yest. and did u know that Far East Shopping Plaza has like the most outrageous clothes? haha! God. Seriously, one can definitely find some gems there man... We went to this shop that had like "miss sixty", "diesel" and "replay" jeans? i dun know if there're like real and all but they look exactly the same... pity the sales staff can't speak proper english... dammit. sigh. Oh... and we had Sakae Sushi for dinner! Now how can that EVER be bad... hehe. Walked around town aimlessly as always visiting our favourite malls... Taka, Paragon, Heeren and Far East. Ended the night with some wine sipping down by Conrad Hotel's lounge... simply heavenly. I like wine. I like sipping wine and talking about life's funny and serious moments... oh... and we did a rating system for hotel lounging... Ritz is by far the best with great finger food and cheap house wines... so anyone up for a drink?

Good Afternoon World... hmmm... now i know how my friends feel when they speak of their times they babysat their drunk friends at a pub, club or a party... well... cos... it happened to me last night... haha. A 6 dollar "all you can drink" chalet party in the infamous Changi area... It was all good in the beginning when everyone was like "hey!" and "ho!" but come 1 a.m... my friends started dropping like flies! haha. it was kinda funny and sad to see my guy friend drunk and crying about the girlfriend that left him for a "better social life without him" but thats what alcohol does... it reveals all the vulnerabilities and true emotions of human longing. Anyway, tried to knock some sense into him but that's another tale for another time. Well, there was this guy called bevin (if that's how u spell it) and he helped me go around the grass patch to pick up all my drunk friends... and boy were they heavy... put them on beds and sent them to sleep... Bevin and myself then went on to get to know the people who were sober and bored during the afterparty while trying to help my friends not puke on themselves... good fun. Haha. Seriously, I felt kinda happy that they actually got drunk cos I invited them to the place and, in a disturbing kinda way, I think they got their 6 bucks worth. anyway... I've been drunk once and it aint no pretty sight... dun wanna do it again...
